As I'm checking Reddit before heading into work this morning, I'm seeing a lot of speculation that Half Life 3 is going to be announced at Summer Game Fest today. IDK if that's going to happen, but I completely forgot Summer Game Fest even existed until I opened Reddit lol.

I find it funny how a lot of the privacy and post visibility features that Bluesky is lauded for now existed within Google Plus. Kinda feels like vindication for using it over Facebook and Twitter back in the day.

When I got my passport last year I got the "x" and as a result I'm scared shitless for this exact reason. I just thought it was nice to have some form of official ID that was gender-affirming and now I'm regretting giving the federal government a record that I'm not cis.
Never, in all my pondering about this, did I ever consider that I would be protecting myself from my own federal government. That I would have to worry about passing through the border back into the country where I was born.

I'm a bit conflicted right now. There's a part of me right now that wants to try to make a serious push at casting again, because I know if I put in the work, I can make it professionally.
