On here for Spurs, Swindon and wonky pop.
Seen this Hollowayball (Ollieball?) many times before. Somehow we nearly always win. Delightful. MOTM McGregor for his industry and delicate touches.

Woof. Dreadful first half but slowly turned the screw in the second - the subs after the hour made a huge change, particularly Ehib... Their equaliser hugely undeserved, the winner absolutely beautiful. Started celebrating before it went past the keeper 😎. MOTM Munroe obv

Clarke POTM, constantly snapping into tackles and setting the tone elsewhere. Weird game - can't really remember a save being made. Won it by being that bit more tenacious, and then hung on πŸ™Œ

I'm partial to a honk but you're right, there's a clear correlation between honking and fee paying educations

He's one of Britain's richest men. So why does Asif Aziz's property company keep leasing London gift shops to overseas students based in abandoned offices or flytipped car parks β€” before vanishing without paying millions of pounds in taxes? www.londoncentric.media/p/asf-aziz-l...

Asif Aziz's Criterion Capital manages a row of high-profile shops at Piccadilly Circus. So why does his team keeping renting them to students who vanish without paying millions of pounds in taxes?

More bands should be like Los Camp! in many ways. Very interesting, pretty bleak and extremely in-depth guide to what it takes getting them On The Road.

Hoping this provides some insight into what it takes to get the LC! show on the road.

I went to Swindon Town for the first day of fan action against owner Clem Morfuni. Swindon fans have been through a lot. That hardens you for the worst, but also prepares you to fight against it.

Swindon Town's mutinous fans deserve to be heard after years of hurt
Decline has bred anger and resentment as Swindon risk becoming just the second former Premier League club to fall out of the Football League altogether

It's true that getting exercise done on a cold, wet day can feel fantastic but I looked out of the window at 5:30 this morning ahead of my long run and just decided not to.

Played FM instead. I feel euphoric.

Feels very AVB in the stats Vs PFM debate IMO.
November 10, 2024 at 7:44 PM
I guess also in matches we lose it's a game state thing too.
November 10, 2024 at 7:42 PM
Fair. I wasn't there so will take your word for it. This level of contrast between stats & eye test fans I feel is the biggest since AVB.
November 10, 2024 at 7:40 PM
Hmmm that's interesting. I would've thought the style would exacerbate that variance but apparently not.
November 10, 2024 at 7:11 PM
Is there a way to work out how those metrics differ in games we've won Vs those we've not? To me it seems like we either batter teams or surrender meekly, which isn't conducive to a good league position.
