Lefty boomer, grows excellent cauliflowers
Better than rampant environmental vandalism. Stop sucking up to NZ 1st - are you worried they might swing back to Labour next year??

Celebrity chefs wittering on about Michelin stars ”changing the dining game” in NZ. Meanwhile in the real world restaurants are closing by the hundred and others are hanging on by a thread as diners cut back on spending. How will Michelin stars change that, you tools?

You know you’re struggling to beat up an article about an earthquake when you note that it “caused a neighbourhood dog to bark”

I’ve never voted for Bolger’s team and never will, but he was the last Nat leader with any integrity, with a dislike for inequality and racism. Sure he presided over Richardson’s ghastly term, but the Nat leaders since then have been increasingly lightweight and venal. None a patch on gentleman Jim.

Spotted this painting today in Palermo by Renato Guttusso: “Exodus of the Arabs”, 1967. Plus ça change, eh?

Ridiculous outrage bait from Stuff. He's 73 and she's 55 FFS - hardly an Epstein-level affair.

Haven’t seen many farmers sauntering down Lambton Quay spending up large. My guess is most of their extra cash is going straight to the big banks to pay down debt. Maybe we should tag and track some of those extra bucks. Not many ending up where they’re needed I’ll bet.

Patrick Brockie, CEO of CRL, is the new hero we all need, gently coaxing spluttering old man Winston into a high-viz vest.

If Luxon were to be rolled by his caucus before the election, who gets to step in as PM? Seymour, Peters or neither? Luxon's replacement as leader? Is this even covered in the CoC agreement? It could be fun to watch.

Dear RNZ Checkpoint: Can we please keep Melissa Chan-Green and maybe find something else for Lisa to do??

National Party cheerleader Luke Malpass hailing the new med school as a victory for Waikato, med students and taxpayers: “breaks duopoly”. It’s not a fucking supermarket Luke. Just bugger off to NZME already. You’d be happier there.

Census shock: How am I going to keep declaring my allegiance to the Church of the Flying Spaghetti Monster? Good luck inferring that from my superannuation records.

I discovered today that the dictation function in MS Word doesn't work when there's no internet (big outage this morning). Which begs the question: who the hell is listening??

Piss off you arrogant prick. Even the paper recyclers will probably reject you and send you straight to landfill.

Strangely satisfying to hear the good people of Central Hawke's Bay having a right old sook about soaring water rates after they had so thoroughly dumped on 3 waters. Doesn't seem such a bad idea now does it, eh??
