I thought I left this bullshit back in 2025, but nope. I'm tired of "friends" dipping in and out of commitments as they want without considering how their choices affect others. When we made an effort to plan something out ahead of time, I thought we also made a commitment to follow through…(1/3)

Hot damn, Croix Bethune in KC? Hell yeah!

Also, I really want Croix to be one of NWSL ATL’s first signings, but we’re still a ways off from 2028.

Feeling accomplished but also, so tired. 😫

This set up is ridiculous.

It's such a lovely day outside especially, in comparison to the last two Fridays, and yet, I'm not able to enjoy it…all I can do is stare at it over this screen.

The motivation is seriously lacking today.

One of my favorite activities is figuring out ways to overcomplicate things that are simple.

For those in areas affected by Winter Storm Fern (when did they start naming winter storms?): stay safe. 🥶

The line b/t caution & fear-mongering can sometimes be incredibly thin. Yes, there's some bad weather headed our way. And yes, it's good to share information on how to prepare & what to expect, but calm down! I don't need the play-by-play & I don't need to hear how catastrophic this storm could be.

If someone isn't causing harm to themselves or others, then I should mind my business.

I hate the idea of others judging my hobbies and interests, so why would I judge someone else's passions?

What is the record for most missed 3-point attempts in a row?

Remember, you can't please everyone, nor do you need to please everyone.

Yesterday was good (except for my lunch, but that's a whole other thing).

So far, today has been a mixed bag. Let's just say "yay for Manchester United" and we'll leave it at that for now.

I feel better about today. Yesterday was good, too, but I actually feel like I can do something else after wrapping up work other than sleep.
January 15, 2026 at 10:10 PM
I think I did fairly well today.

I get it, the social media teams of professional sports teams have nothing to do with player transactions, coaching decisions, etc., but it's so cringey when they put out "thank you" posts following moves where the decision-makers clearly wanted to move on from the player. Just let it go.

I wish FIFA would cut it out with the bullshit regarding their volunteer recruitment for the World Cup. They’re a multibillion-dollar nonprofit, and they can’t afford to pay people to stand in the heat and usher people around like cattle. It’s not an experience; it’s exploitation.

Paige Bueckers seems like such a chill person who deserves far more mainstream attention than others that do receive that attention.
January 6, 2026 at 4:14 AM
Well, it’s back to work today, and to be honest, I’m grateful to be able to make such a statement. Now, I have to make sure I remember to turn all my notifications back on.

At some point, you have to wonder if there's some underlying constant that has remained at Manchester United throughout this decade-plus-long period of managerial and front office changes and instability. 🤔
January 5, 2026 at 11:50 AM
It doesn’t matter how you get there, just as long as you get there. The Panthers are headed to the playoffs! 🥲
January 4, 2026 at 9:29 PM
The fact that Carolina had multiple opportunities throughout the season to win the division without the need to depend on another team almost makes me want to say that they shouldn't make the playoffs. But who am I kidding? Who knows the next time they'll be this close?
January 4, 2026 at 6:06 PM
Go Falcons!? 🤢
January 4, 2026 at 6:02 PM
Well, I have nothing on my calendar today, so what should I do?

I have a number of books in my queue as well as a couple of graphic novels, and then there's my anime queue that has been left alone for nearly a month now. 😱
January 2, 2026 at 3:50 PM
I suppose it’s not possible to get a redo on the start of 2026, right?
