While trying to think of who should coach the Ravens next, I haven't come up with my favorite option in terms of helping the fantasy value of Lamar Jackson and Derrick Henry, the favorite option I've come up with is Kevin Stefanski, because Stefanski facing the Browns twice a year would be fun.

This loss felt like it could be an end of an era in Baltimore. The Ravens in recent years have had some of the best teams in NFL history not to make it to the Super Bowl. Lamar Jackson, Derrick Henry, Mark Andrews, Ronnie Stanley, Marlon Humphrey aren't getting any younger. Might need some change

Sad to see Raheem Morris go. It will be interesting to see what the Falcons do this off-season. Whatever they do could have some notable impacts on the ADPs of Bijan Robinson and Drake London.
January 5, 2026 at 1:49 AM
It's possible yeah. We'll see that the coaching situation ends up looking like for the Raiders and who they might like.
January 5, 2026 at 1:38 AM
I don't think another one goes that early. Ty Simpson is the 3d guy.
January 5, 2026 at 1:38 AM
Should I put Fernando Mendoza on the Raiders and Dante Moore on the Jets in my rankings now, or do I need to wait until the end of April?
January 5, 2026 at 1:33 AM
Yes they can. They just had Badgley on the roster in Week 17. I would guess they bring him back, at least to the practice squad.

With the Bills up by 29 and Patriots up by 14, it looks pretty likely that one wild card game will be Bills at Jaguars. It could be the 7 vs. 2 or the 6 vs. 3, depending on the Chargers/Broncos.

I hope your fantasy championship does not depend on today, but if it does, Week 18 Rankings are updated with inactives news, but start people at your own risk. For example, Christian Watson is active for the Packers, but I wouldn't be surprised if he doesn't play.

Nick Chubb is inactive for the Texans. Possible it's a veteran rest day, but also possible he's fallen too far down the Texans RB depth chart.

Timing of it compared to holidays is very fair. Would be nice if fantasy championship week didn't start on Christmas.
January 4, 2026 at 3:29 PM
I think those evolutions would have happened without the longer schedule. If anything, I think the change to a 7 team playoffs, leading to the difference between the 2nd and 3rd seed becoming less important, was a bigger thing hurting this week.
January 4, 2026 at 3:19 PM
If you're talking about more player injuries over time - yes

If you're talking about teams seemingly not caring about this week, I think teams are just caring more about getting healthy for the playoffs than seeding, or caring more about tanking for a pick, than they used to.
January 4, 2026 at 3:19 PM
Surprised the Texans are resting Nico Collins, with a small chance of winning the division on the line, and at the very least, seeding on the line where the 5 seed should be better for them than the 6 or 7 seed.

Second straight game where Kenneth Walker III and Zach Charbonnet had 17+ touches each
January 4, 2026 at 3:48 AM
If the Seahawks hold their lead and games tomorrow go as expected, we're getting 49ers/Eagles in the wild card round, which should be a very fun game.

Just checking out snaps from CAR/TB now. Panthers had a major shakeup at WR.

- Jalen Coker played all of the 12 personnel snaps over Xavier Legette.
- Legette also played less than half of the 11 personnel snaps, splitting time with Jimmy Horn Jr.
