Heather Humphreys is simply, flatly wrong about this. And I'm gonna forever side-eye all the FG associates I know at the Bar (which is A LOT of people) if they don't come out strongly against this really pernicious undermining of the profession.

Business idea: lightbulbs but the make and model will be written on the bulb itself rather than the box (which went into the bin years ago) so when it blows you can order a new one without having to guess what it is.

New Sovereign Citizen case: "I am a Sovereign Living Man, Ever Present from Fertilisation until Last Breath, and that I do not identify as a Person under section 41 of the Road Traffic Act."
Gutsy defence.

Irish businesses will struggle to compete with Amazon ie, both online and in the high street.

Shop direct with your Irish retailers, who already exist.

I've been to Nice
And the isle of Greece
When I sipped champagne on a yacht
I moved like Harlow in Monte Carlo
And showed 'em what I've got
I've been undressed by kings
And I've seen some things
That a woman ain't supposed to see.

TDs complaining about the lack of speaking time. Why not double the hours the Dáil sits so they could speak all they want?

Business idea: someone in south Dublin should set up a sauna / ice bath and then absolutely bombard everyone with Instagram adverts every 2 seconds for ever.

Maybe for @electionlit.bsky.social - who is Ireland’s least successful candidate? ie most elections contested and least votes gained? John Keigher has been standing for years at any election in Dublin. Never produces a manifesto and gets a handful each time.
