Trump was absolutely on the ballot tonight and Democrats in the Senate better recognize that and hold the line. The strategy of “break everything and make everything as bad as possible as quickly as possible” is not working for the GOP.

Every local official in Michigan should be asking their lawmakers one thing: “Will the cuts to sales tax and revenue sharing outweigh the new road funding?” If the answer is no, then it’s not a solution, it’s a shell game dressed up as progress with good marketing.

There's no reason to wait. School Boards are adopting budgets, the House, the Senate, and the Governor agree on 89% of key spending priorities; any further delay in getting to 100% is unnecessary and delays important decisions related to instruction and learning.
