I just remember the cigar smoking pic with the catch-line ‘I love it when a plan come together’ after the SC ruling. Ignoring the fact that the judgement laid down should not be seen as a victory of one group over another and not to boast about it (last bit paraphrased).

A name I have not heard in years and elsewhere I pointed that he and the likes of Norman Geras lit the torch paper when it came to liberals advocating for war online with the start of online blogging. I remember the laughably entitled Gerasites.

The obvious follow up was to ask ‘so what part of international law was breached when Putin invaded Ukraine…you knew that pretty much straight away’
