I'm in the cast of a musical right now for the first time since high school. We're in rehearsal now and wow, (A) singing, dancing, and acting all at once is a lot of things and (B) I can let myself have so much more fun now that I'm comfortable in my body and masculinity

my hot take is that I don't think it's this website specifically that's toxic. the Circumstances are toxic and nobody really knows what to do about it so they come online and scream. and if I may offer an alternative: actually going outside and screaming feels better.

Did my first musical theater audition as an actor for the first time in 13 years and didn’t royally screw anything up and also didn’t cry so no matter what I’m unequivocally counting this as a win 😉👏🏻
