Randos on social media are just randos on social media. They're just people sharing their opinions. Trans randos are just trans randos. The only trans activists whose activist work preceded the current backlash are the activists working at trans and LGBTQ+ organizations.
It is extremely concerning to me that some leaders of the trans community might be entertaining the idea that, under a period of their leadership that has ushered in a devastating reactionary backlash, the real culprits are randos on social media not showing enough decorum.
