Thinking about getting out of the Home Automation game. The benefits don't feel like they outweigh the costs, and the constant house system maintenance, troubleshooting, and reconfigurations as tech changes and open source solutions and platforms change, upgrade, and change foundations.

Looks like I'll be using two windows laptops and external portable monitors for a while. Does anyone have a good KVM/docking setup they like for this kind of config where I can share external monitors and keyboard/mouse between two laptops (& use the attached screens too for each of the laptops)?

I'm a weird old school trans (nontransitioning), genderqueer, genderfluid, masculine nonbinary person (and chromosomally intersex in weird and complex ways). I don't fit into the majority trans experiences. But I still think TERFs have GOT TO GO!!! Singal and Rowling especially.

That chart that shows the UHG denial rate? I was "lucky" enough to be on a very good Kaiser Permanente (they're on the other end of the chart at just 7%) plan and I've been on KP for a big chunk of my life. Good thing too because in 2021 I got leukemia and since then Kaiser has paid for more than

I tip, at minimum, even for bad service, 20% on the subtotal at any time I'm eating out. For fine dining my minimum is 25% and usually I do 30% or 35%. I never send food or drinks back if I can help it,
