The herbs are starting to leave the nursery for garden centre benches - we only grow on a seasonal basis so these are hardy perennials and biennials and have been looked after all winter, ready to take off again as the weather warms up 🌱🇬🇧

The first of the new tunnels is now finished and half full of strawberry plants 🌱🇬🇧

The wild rocket has already germinated - such a great herb, for its flavour and also because it’s a hardy perennial 🌱🇬🇧

The seeds are being sown again and we’re back to our weekly production schedule at the nursery. Once covered and watered they’re going into the germination cabinet as it provides the heat and light levels they need to get started 🌱🇬🇧 #herbs #flowers #peatfree

Although invasive, the sea figs growing in the dunes here are looking gorgeous at the minute, all covered in these vivid pink flowers. Carpobrotus chilensis. #flowers #succulents

There are so many gorgeous herb plants here in the Spanish garden centres, the same varieties that we grow back in the UK and so lovely to see #herbs #flowers #gardening

#SundayYellow as the flowers start to open here in Spain 💛

Finished! Well the outside is as the ends and doors are now on. That means we have another two 8m x 22m tunnels to join the other 18 of this size, a smaller one, a three bay multispan and an outdoor covered space to fill with our wonderful little herbs 🪴 #peatfree #gardening #flowers #herbs 🌱🇬🇧

Well we’re open again from tomorrow and all ready for the 2026 season! Just a few pics of what we get up to each year - all grown by us, mainly for garden centres but sent out to online customers and at some local events too. All peat free, all home grown 🌱🇬🇧 #herbs #flowers

Waiting…
I’m sure that before we know it we’ll be in full production again. In the meantime, the propagation trays sit there and wait 🌱🇬🇧

French Tarragon shoots!
We’ll continue to keep the pots dry until around February (they haven’t been watered since October) as it’s the only way to get this herb through the colder, wetter months of winter 🌱🇬🇧

As we head towards the Winter solstice and the return of the light, which means another season of growing herbs…
Thank you to everyone who’s supported our small, family business in 2025.
Enjoy the Christmas and New Year break as we will whilst we’re closed for two weeks for a well deserved rest 🌱🇬🇧

Great news just before Christmas - we’ve been awarded a 50% grant towards the cost of a new transplanting machine for our 2026 season 🪴
After registering our initial interest almost two years ago, it was wonderful to receive this email a couple of days ago 🌱🇬🇧

The two new polytunnels are coming along nicely too, finally covered yesterday morning as it was dry and calm - leaving the ends to finish off, doors to be put up and then the inside sorted to be ready for next season’s herbs 🌱🇬🇧
December 18, 2025 at 2:31 PM
What a transformation - one of the trickier areas to clean as it’s a bay of a multispan polytunnel - but he got there and it’s all ready for another season of herb growing 🌱🇬🇧

We’re still delivering into garden centres and sending lots of orders out that customers have ordered online - because you can’t beat fresh herbs in your food and drinks over Christmas time 🌱🇬🇧

We have so much coriander in the raised bed because we just left the original plant to self seed after it bolted and flowered. It’s fully hardy so you can let this happen again and again for year round use 🌱🇬🇧
