The seven democrats and one independent that voted to reopen the government, may not have done the wrong thing. Speaking for the people that are directly suffering, I think they will remember this come midterms. If the media puts the blame where it belongs, it could be a win for democracy.

8/ SCOTUS will soon give—yes, *give*—Trump 19 new House seats by ending the Voting Rights Act. Trump will declare the Insurrection Act, then martial law, when he likes. He has eliminated any USAF brass that would stop him. And I don’t believe Trump will allow any further elections he has not rigged.
