Sheila is an amazing friend and editor. Asides giving me the chance to make Black history when she bought my story, she also came all the way to meet me in New York, hosted me to an amazing dinner. Wishing her swift healing and recovery, and sending strength and love to her and her family. 🙏🏾💙

I have a new story out, in the November issue of Lolwe. And it’s my first work there. It’s titled Oil and Water. Like the title indicates, it’s about the oil rich but impoverished Niger Delta region and its natural resource that’s inspired massacres, insurgencies and so much else.
