heads up - if you did this method for extended service updates, currently Windows Update says that you're no longer receiving security updates. however, this is only a visual bug, and checking manually will show that extended service updates are still active. see massgrave.dev for more info.

It's difficult to overstate the influence Recettear's surprise hit of a digital English release was in terms of getting the Japanese games industry to turn their heads towards PC as a viable release platform.

Absolutely devastated by this news. SpaceDrake was no doubt a huge influence in drumming up interest for Japanese indie games localized into English and pushing for them on digital distribution storefronts like steam. Huge loss. Might be time for another playthrough of Recettear in his honour.

as of 7 years ago today, i took the first steps to becoming who i am and began HRT. it's one of the best decisions I ever made.
even if things seem rough, there's gonna be a light at the end of the tunnel. it's never too late to be happy.
