In such a fraught world, things can just feel so hopeless. But when we throw our weight behind the meaningful things, we understand that somewhere, somehow, we can still make a difference. Building a better world doesn't happen without such decisions.

🇨🇦 Canadian farmers are harvesting record spring wheat and canola crops 🌾🌻, driven largely by widespread no-till and zero-till farming 🚜 that locks in soil moisture 💧 and cuts erosion 🌱. Longer term, yields are up 77% for wheat and nearly double for canola since the mid-1990s ⏳🔥.

This is so cool! I’m grateful that our government had the foresight several years ago to undertake such a very big project. Not just a restoration of our parliament buildings, but re-fitting for the future.

This is so well said and needs to be our modus operandi as a nation.
Citizenship moves from being something one possesses to something one inhabits. If we can master this as Canadians, then our future looks promising. It akes collective effort, but we're worth it. Our kids are worth it.

This is a smart move by Manitoba.
Now increase the compensation packages for public nurses etc.
The province is paying them that much now plus profit on top of it.
Cut out the profit part and save big $.
Doug Ford needs to do the same thing.
No more private healthcare.

This a big deal: "China’s carbon dioxide emissions have been flat or falling for 18 months"

China's economy has grown by ~5% in the last year, so this comprehensively debunks the idea (again) that emissions are tied to growth. So yes, faster progress needed, but this is how you turn the corner.
