We all need to read up on the US Constitution and the Declaration of Independence. We are close to that crossroads now.

So appropriate for now.

The agencies in our government are named for their responsibilities. We have a Dept of Defense & that's what it is for: to defend us and keep us safe. We do not have a Dept of War. That is a clear indication of what the lunatic POTUS wants to use it for, to wage war. This needs to stop right now.

The lunatic in the WH says he has a country to run. So take time off from your redecorating demolition smearing & do your damn job!

What's the point of msnbc changing their name? Are they running away from NBC? Trying to "trick" right wingers into watching MSNOW because they don't know it's msnbc?

I think Amazon is a pretty good retail business but there are 2 things that make we want to shop elsewhere:
1. They support the criminal in the White House.
2. When you search for a product, every brand appears under Amazon, not available anywhere else. That's a monopoly.
Sadly, you must buy there.

Aside from the incompetence, perhaps the most damaging aspect of the Trump Administration is that he is actually dismantling government & turning the federal government into a business playground for the wealthy with no regard for its impact on individuals, society & foreign policy. We are not safe.

When democrats regain control of Congress, they need to pass legislation that requires ANY President to have approval from Congress in order to make any changes to the White House or any other federal historic buildings. When we get rid of Dirty Donald, his gaudy, tacky changes need to be removed.

So according to White House, public will not see recent economic data. HA HA. We know that means it's really bad and you can't come up with an excuse any normal person can believe. The corruption & lies never end.

Doesn't the putrid Orange Buffoon in the WH know by now that when you call everything a hoax, the word no longer has any meaning & in your case, Skippy, every time you call something a hoax, we know that means it's true.

What excuse does the Trump Admin give for removing all the watchdog agencies that protect consumers?

What is happening to our country now all started with the putrid SCOTUS ruling on Citizens United case. When there are campaign donations are unrestricted, rich entities whether they are corporations or individuals, control elections to a great degree.

For decades Americans rightly believed that most politicians were corrupt but it didn't affect most people so they ignored it. Now the corruption & crimes are so egregious that it is destroying our democracy & the lives of average Americans. They're finally standing up & saying NO! Is it too late?

I'm old. I want young people in our government who are intelligent, honest, caring & qualified for their positions. Congress needs to understand & accept the natural evolution of society: The old generation passes the torch to the new generation. They do not cling to power like desperate addicts.

Hey, democrats, you need to start referring to the government shutdown as Thune/Johnson shutdown. Don't sit by & let Johnson & Thune continue to call it the democrat or Schumer shutdown. It wasn't. All republicans had to do was continue the tax credits in the ACA for Americans to afford health ins.

What kind of filth does it take in the WH & Congress to "win" by denying food & health care to Americans? Watch Dirty Diaper Don & his filthy toadies in Congress gloat over the fact that they denied food to hungry American families & won't continue the tax credits that make healthcare accessible.

Americans were suffering in the shutdown but Dems & were fighting for them & most ppl knew it was the GOP causing the shutdown, refusing to stop the skyrocketing health care costs. A bunch of little Dem cowards in the Senate caved. It was all for nothing. Vote for all Progressives in 2026!

I'm a Penn State fan & I have a message for my fellow State fans: Get a damn hobby & stop being so hysterical about every little thing relating to Penn State & the search for a coach. Choosing the right person should be done calmly & with a lot of review. Until then give Terry Smith a chance.

If you support a President & a republican controlled Congress that is blocking release of food to qualified individuals & taking tax credits away from their health insurance to make it unaffordable, YOU ARE THE PROBLEM.
