Most don’t recall that KidRock started trying to pass off as a legit rapper. In '90 I was at CMJ conference at NYU featuring 3rdBass, KRS1, BrandNubian & Black Sheep.
He opened the show, it was immediately clear he was unwelcome and was boo'd off, i think, before his 1st song was over.

fascinating times. the key to this will be proactively and appropriately setting expectations. This pro/rel will not look like what most expect (want?) and MLS has a 30yr head start. Lots of potential, especially a launch featuring a DFW derby.
USL's new first division league to launch in 2028 will be called USL Premier. (Naturally.) Completes pyramid with Championship and League One.
Plan is to grow to 20 teams in USL Premier and 20 in the USL Championship.
