Tulane wore decal-less helmets as a tribute to the team's uniform combination in its first game after Hurricane of Katrina 20 years ago.

But there was one key element missing: white jerseys. Northwestern denied the request.

Head coach Jon Sumrall took exception to that gesture after the game.
