A short silent movie, made by Edison Studios, has been found in a brick outhouse in the north of England. More remarkable is the fact that the film has spent the last sixty years in this dank haven.

It is: 'The Actress' (1913)

Moonstrike: He Who Tells (63)

Is there a traitor in the village betraying the resistance, informing Germans of their plans? Speculation is rife.

A small group of villagers are determined to identify the person responsible, even if it’s someone they love.

An embarrassing interview with Nigel Farage this morning on BBC Radio 4's Today programme in which he proved that 1: He's just a political opportunist and 2: Reform have no actual policy on how they will 'do Brexit properly'. Was Musk right when he said Farage is the wrong person for the job?

“…when you execute a near perfect-looking Nazi-esque salute on stage at a Trump rally … guess what? Whether you intend it or not, or think the reaction is silly or not, it doesn’t necessarily matter.”
Sometimes a Nazi Salute Is a Nazi Salute
Did Elon Musk intentionally "sieg heil" at Donald Trump's inauguration rally? Sometimes it only matters what you do, not what you intend.

Just in from mammoth interview session to two bits of news. One that a DV perp got locked up because of something I did and that a vulnerable constituent had a a massive wrongful debt written off after our intervention. This is why I came to politics, this is why I'll just keep cracking on.

Women do not exist to be palatable to men who might want to fuck us, we’re not concepts or objects, we don’t exist to be thoughtlessly used as wank fodder. We are human beings who deserve better than the shit that society forces us to endure, shit that that far too many men choose to blindly defend.

"South Korea’s struggle is a powerful reminder that democracy is not self-sustaining—it requires active vigilance"
I was preparing to pitch an op-ed on the nationwide protests calling for President Yoon's resignation, aiming to provide global context amid the limited international coverage.

Given the urgency, I’m sharing it now. I didn’t expect events to escalate this quickly. #SouthKorea #Democracy

Britain is knee deep in an information war. Young men radicalised at shocking rates, conspiracy trumping facts, swathes willingly participating in subterfuge that goes against their interests. The usual fake patriots at the helm. Our system, lacking checks and balances, exploited.

Do we do media regulation stuff here? Some good points in today's report from the Lords Communications & Digital Committee. This seems a wise remark. Sky, BBC, C4, ITV should take note. But how could GB News follow this advice, when it regularly taunts Ofcom on air and does not accept its rulings?
