Django 6.0beta1 has arrived! 🎉

It adds CSP support, background tasks, and partial templates as new built-in features 🧩

It’s not for production yet, but testing it now helps make Django 6.0 even better 🚀

The first Django On The Med sprints have been a wonderful success. 🏖️

I had proposed the idea back in 2022 and helped organize it with @carltongibson.bsky.social 😊

I’m so thankful to everyone who joined and made it such a joyful experience. 🙌

The 1.2.1 release of django-simple-deploy allows plugins to extend the core CLI.

For example, the dsd-flyio plugin now supports a `--vm-size` option.

This is what was needed to make plugins much more powerful than simply "give me the smallest possible working deployment".
