I wanted to celebrate that in the last 24 hours, we have had 3 corporate member applications. I don't know if there will be time to get them into this year's fundraising drive, but funding is long term. If your company is able, please apply: www.djangoproject.com/foundation/...

Does your employer do employee donation matching? Some companies have a policy of matching an employee's charitable donation, and we would be so appreciative of your support. We had a great weekend with some donors stepping in. We are at nearly 93%.

Employer Donation Liaison Info
Thank you for your interest in helping your employer support the Django Software Foundation (DSF) and the Django community! We're always looking for more corporate sponsors, and you can help us start a conversation between your employer and the DSF's Fundraising Working Group. There's many different ways a company can contribute to the DSF: Corporate Membership – recurring donations in the form of corporate sponsorship to fund ongoing development and community programs. Donation Matching - assisting in setting up programs through platforms like Benevity that match their employee donations Volunteer Contribution Programs – supporting initiatives where the company enables employees to allocate a portion of their work time to open source contribution This form is coordinated and administered by the DSF's Fundraising Working Group. Filling it out does not commit you to anything — it’s simply a way to let us know you’re interested. You do not need to be a decision-maker at your company to f

If your company uses Django, please ask them to donate! It's a great way to say thanks, and really helps keep the framework going.

🚀 Feature Friday: Template partials!

New in Django 6.0, this extension to Django's template language makes it easy to reuse fragments in templates: Great for cutting down the overhead of creating files for small pieces of isolated logic!

2025 is ending soon (96% done), but we are still a few steps from this year's fundraising goal (88% done).

Let's make the two numbers meet! Consider making a donation to fund Django's development, security, and community events in 2026 🎁

✍️ New post showing how to implement HTTP Bearer authentication in Django.
