today we stand up against hate. There was a recent anti-LGBTQ hate crime in the vicinity at which 2 men were assaulted with a baseball bat due to how they presented themselves. Dot is no place for hate. @whdh.bsky.social @wcvb5.bsky.social @wbztv.bsky.social @nbcboston.com @baywindows.bsky.social

Sad I supported @mayorwu.boston.gov by attending 2 senior heavy events where she never mentioned this. We already had a huge property tax increase last FY and now she wants more? Tighten your belt in tough times or risk driving away seniors who built this City

I received this mailing today, and while I am a savvy person who sees this for what it is, other seniors might fear something will happen to their house if they don’t call the number.

Looking at some survey data here. Trump/Elon cutting off all cancer cure research is the issue that freaks voters out more than any other, also the one they've heard the least about. Important for voters to hear more about this.

We went to the Sam Adams statue at Faneuil Hall today to protest cuts to National Park Service staff. We engaged passersby to write encouraging posts cards, which will be sent to remaining staff. Thanks Ann Walsh for organizing.

So I finally decided that I was going to start a thread on taking care of elderly parents. None of my other family is on BS yet so I just wanted to tell everyone who hasn’t been through it yet, that it can be difficult at times. But I would rather see my mom with constant attention as needed.
