The British public are clear:

It’s time for those with the broadest shoulders to pay a fairer share of taxes.

There’s a lack of self awareness and then there’s this.

The byline may more accurately read:

Former Conservative MP & chancellor FOR 38 DAYS, who tanked the economy and drove up mortgage costs for millions to give tax cuts to the super rich.

Most definitely ‘out of his depth’.

AI is transforming the world of work, no matter what industry you work in.

But throughout history, unions have shaped technology to protect & enhance workers’ rights, and deliver economic justice and social progress.

We are ready to do it again.

Extending free school meals.

Restoring the winter fuel allowance.

£15bn for public transport in the North & the Midlands.

Good steps in the right direction, and proof a Labour government can make a difference when it listens and acts.

A reminder: The ‘costs’ of the employment rights bill include giving low paid workers the right to sick pay from day one.

How many execs or senior managers in the big outsourcing companies who signed this letter have to worry about paying the bills if they take a day off sick?

A difficult night for the government.

Labour can’t try to out-Reform Reform - but the government will be rewarded if it delivers the change working people are crying out for.

Paul Nowak - 'Labour has nothing to gain from trying to out-Reform Reform'
TUC General Secretary Paul Nowak urged Keir Starmer to push through popular reforms that will cut through Nigel Farage's hallow posturing - rather than shifting to the right

Nigel Farage is a political fraud ‘cosplaying’ as a working-class champion.

Judge him by what he does, not what he says.

He and his mates in Reform have voted against commonsense laws that would boost rights at work for millions.

Last week this political chancer was an expert on steel.

Now he’s an authority on special educational needs.

This isn’t about what’s best for kids.

It’s about what’s best for Reform’s poll ratings.

The government should build on its decisive move to save British Steel & act to bring down electricity prices for our energy intensive industries.

Donald Trump has just made the strongest possible argument for 🇬🇧 to positively reset its economic relationship with the 🇪🇺, our largest market.

In the face of punitive & arbitrary 🇺🇸 tariffs, the government must do everything it can to protect British jobs & industry.

Regurgitating right wing conspiracy tropes isn’t a great look for the Leader of the Opposition. It sort of makes you look a *little* unhinged? Weird? Daft?

‘It’s definitely politically motivated’

Not the casually expressed hope that someone should murder the Mayor of London

Or the racism.

Or the misogyny.

Politically motivated 😐🙄

And of course his excuse is ‘mental health’…I think Charlie would normally ascribe that to ❄️

Inheritance tax was paid on just over 4% of estates last year.

I won’t have to pay it on my estate.

Odds are the overwhelming majority of people reading this won’t pay it.

I tell you who will though.
