The lesson for universities is you may as well fight back. You'll lose the money either way. The only question is whether you keep your dignity.
Exclusive: Weeks after President Donald Trump’s administration ordered NIH to pull $250 million in biomedical research grants to Columbia University, the agency is freezing all remaining grant money owed to the university until further notice. scim.ag/4if5Rg1

Where I'm at: AWP decompressing. Mentally drafting bulaklak. Conflicted about Ian and Poppy. Why can't friendship be enough? Other Books in LA is a dream of a bookstore. Love is a perpetual motion machine of strength and exhaustion.

SCOOP—Emails obtained by @zeteo.com show Mahmoud Khalil reached out for help from the Columbia administration *one day before* ICE detained him.

He said he couldn't sleep from threats he was receiving.
He even wrote that he feared ICE "might come to my home."

This week in Iowa we may have set a record as an estimated 2,500 people showed up to protest anti-trans legislation. It's certainly the loudest and most well attended protest event I've been to at the Iowa Capitol, and I've been to a number of them over the years.

Woke is the favourite gremlin of mediocre men. It's nebulous, it's everywhere, it's why they run companies into the ground and their children hate them and they're getting a divorce.
Woke creeps into their rooms at night and leaves skidmarks on their underwear.
