I've been looking for work since I got laid off at the end of August, and one big time-waster in my job search has been ghost jobs. These are jobs that are advertised as being open, but which do not actually exist.

I remember hearing about John Lennon’s death while I watched the Tonight Show. If I recall, that Monday Night Football game was boring, so I had switched the channel.

The way people complain about Chris Collinsworth makes me wonder what they would do if they had to listen to someone truly obnoxious, like Howard Cosell.

I just finished watching the 2025 edition of the Beatles Anthology. It was good, but unexpected. It has no newly filmed material—everything new comes from the interviews for the previous edition and the Get Back archives. #Beatles #Anthology

When I was young, in my house we always used the word "divan" to mean sofa. Since my parents travelled a lot when they were young, I've no idea what region in the US uses "divan." Any ideas? #words #language #idioms

And I thought the Broncos-Raiders game was boring.

Nothing the NFL will ever do will match the falling of the Berlin Wall or the feats of Jesse Owen’s. Chris Berman is being epically fatuous here.

Joe Buck thinks this is an interesting, scoreless first half. He must love watching paint dry.

This is worse than watching the Giants play.

I hope at least one of these teams develop an offense in the second half. #mnf

I love football and can put up with quite a bit when it comes to be uninteresting football games, but this game is epically boring.

Upshot: Those on the spectrum will be fired.
"Store employees are now required to smile if they are within 10 feet of a shopper.

They also must make eye contact with and wave to or greet the customer.

If they’re within four feet, the employee should ask how the customer’s day is going or if they need help."

🙄 Won't stop the boycott, y'all.
Target is now requiring its employees to smile more

A man rushed to the Broadview ICE facility searching for his wife. They followed every legal step, but ICE took her into another room and she vanished. He tracked her phone there when the signal died. Police told him to “look up her name online.” He sat in the parking lot, weeping, with no answers.

ICE grabs father by the neck—send him into violent seizure while his arms lock up around his toddler.

"He's having seizure and they're trying to rip the baby out of his hands!"

Agents then handcuff him—before putting in ambulance with his child.

Mother is detained by agents as target of arrest.
