These are immoral and every moral person must do all they can to stop these from being operational. They are concentration camps.
ICE has now spent over half a BILLION dollars just on purchasing warehouses around the country to convert into detention camps.

Does anyone have some examples of medium-sized cities (100K - 300k) that have aggressively courted more density?
I was looking at Bloomington-Normal in IL and it seems to be doubling down on sprawl. I’m just amazed there’s not even a modest attempt to encourage townhomes or 4 or 8 flat buildings

The Democrat’s demands are very reasonable, they have the popularity here, they shouldn’t bend on this issue. Trump is unpopular and he owns all bad things happening now. Continue to blame him and hold the line.

Building dense housing near transit is THE most green thing a local politician has immediate power to implement, after maybe just funding transit.
With the most robust rail network in the American Midwest, Chicago has the 2nd largest number of car-free households of any metro area (behind only NYC)
