America is never bouncing back in international esteem after Trump and the circumstances that allowed all of this. And rightfully so. This country is a daily litany of embarrassment and shame.

I’m trying to put a face on those who sacrificed immensely for our democracy. One of my ancestors during the Revolution. Fighting against the most powerful military in the world then, the British military. To protect us from the rule of tyranny! We cannot let this happen under Trump! We cannot!

I have a problem how our government is treating undocumented immigrants! My great grandfather, a London native, was an orphan with his brother after his father, a news correspondent, died at age 36. He was shipped to Montreal, and entered the USA, UNDOCUMENTED, in 1904. His two sons served WWII.

My grandfather. First generation born to UNDOCUMENTED Irish immigrants. Served in our US Navy during WWI. Transporting men to and from Brooklyn and France to fight against Germany. After the war he enlisted again to patrol our eastern seaboard in the 1920s. Defending our democracy.
