📝In the last #PATHS2INCLUDE policy brief, we compare historically vulnerable groups with groups at risk due to #AI adoption, providing policy recommendations to prevent new forms of labour market exclusion.

#PATHS2INCLUDE sought a more nuanced understanding of the gender employment gap by looking at the role of 1️⃣ social norms and 2️⃣flexible working conditions.

Although the gender employment gap has halved over the past 20 years in the Euro area, it still stood at 8.83% in 2024.

➡️We measured the cost of inaction rather than moving towards more inclusive, gender-balanced labour markets.

More women without children are employed in the EU than women with children, while it is the opposite for men. 📝Our new policy brief aims to provide a more nuanced understanding of the factors that influence these patterns.
