Hey lovely folks; I'm largely offline for a couple of months, so please forgive me if I don't respond to messages or interact with posts. Nothing bad, don't worry.
Thanks so much Jeff!
Showing my daughter this movie because she loves horror musicals. I have no idea who she gets that from!!!

After next week I'm going to be largely offline for a couple of months, so if you need something out of me before that it's probably best to give me a shout over the next few days (don't worry, it's not a bad thing)

Finally caught up with The Monkey. Bloody excellent.

15 years ago, DVD & Blu-ray Review magazine called me a 'funny guy' before proceeding to trash my then-latest movie.

I used the 'Pat Higgins is a funny guy' pull-quote for years, knowing it was the only positive sentence in the piece.

Ah well, the magazine's long gone and I'm still hilarious.

In the queue for Record Store Day. Happy and cold. Using my kid's unfinished thermos of coffee as a hand warmer.

Just revisited Fright Night 2011 remake and had a blast with it.

Now playing: Nemesis the Warlock on the C64 for the first time since the 80s. I had forgotten the way monsters sometimes burst out of your dead foes. This was hardcore onscreen violence for 1987. #retrogaming

Found this bad boy when tidying up my movie room. Bought it in a little shop in Exeter in about '93. Seems a little under UK Quad size, weirdly. What a lovely poster. #horror #evildead

Since March 2018, Powertool Cheerleaders Vs the Boyband of the Screeching Dead has been a daily part of my life. From scripting to pre-production, all the way through to sorting out distribution and marketing, not to mention two years of actually shooting the thing in the middle. (1/)

Decades too late, I FINALLY saw Friday the 13th Part III in wonderful 3D as intended. Had an absolute blast with it. My new favourite F13 viewing experience, overtaking Jason X in a theatre on opening weekend. It'll never be my favourite franchise, but goddamn I love 80s 3D.

If there were 11 days in a week rather than 7 would it make time feel like it was passing faster or slower?

We went to see an episode of QI being filmed in the 00s. Never saw it air. It had Rich Hall make a brilliant joke about time travel (which I guess may not have made the edit). We've been trawling iplayer looking for it for an hour now. No joy whatsoever. Can't remember the other panelists, alas.

Even more terrifyingly, why am I watching Bio-Dome AGAIN?

Flashback to Cannes 2008. Feels like yesterday. I associate this fest with the smell of Lush's Sonic Death Monkey shower gel, which I had then but got discontinued shortly after. It's now available again, and the smell transports me.
