#foraging Spent the afternoon picking stinging nettle seeds, and now I'm spending the evening seperating them from their clusters so I can airdry them easier.

My poor fingers 😂

He's out of surgery, vet says he's recovering well. Can't wait to see his little face and bring him back home 🥰
Dropped the pup off at for his big leg operation. The panic and confusion when you walk away and leave them with the vet is heartbreaking! Like I just want my sweet baby to be happy, and feel as safe and loved as possible 😭

The bee in our garden is working far too hard for a Friday morning. Puts me to shame.

Fun fact: There's no such thing as a weed. There's no weed taxonomy, family, species or variety. All plants have inherent worth and value, whether we wish to see it or not.

I know they aren't dire wolves, and I know there are serious ethical concerns about creating them... But damn those pups are adorable 😍😍 their little howls!!

Basically nothing Lady Victoria Vvyan (President of landowner lobby group, the CLA) won't blame the public for.

Here she claims ancient monuments could be lost forever if the public are allowed near. A brazen claim given the huge number of archaeological losses landowners are responsible for.
REVEALED: over 1/4 of England's ancient landmarks have no right of public access.

Analysis from Right to Roam indicates over 5,500 scheduled monuments were off-limits, with trespass the only way to fully experience our heritage.

Ancient landmarks closed off to walkers, campaigners say
They include a neolithic burial mound in Wiltshire and an Iron Age hill fort on the edge of Dartmoor.

92% of the land in this country is inaccessible to the public. England must look to the Scottish model and extend access to nature and heritage in our countryside.

RIP to Paris and all, but I could've easily persuaded them not to fight over some shiny apple.
Skill issue tbh

One thing I can never get over is how dull the Game of Thrones/HOTD TV shows made the dragons look for the sake of "realism".
Meanwhile, actual real life reptiles:

They wish to be visibly cruel because it makes them feel big and strong.

Block them with the most powerful block button we've had on social media to save yourself the energy, and save others from the garage being spread
Just be prepared. We've all seen that headline going around today that Bluesky is the current #1 app, and X dropped out of the top 25.

That means the absolute worst people in the world are going to be coming here trying to turn THIS place into just as much of a shithole. Block them. Don't engage.

The desperate desire to forage pretty mushrooms, tempered by the awareness that I'm too ignorant to do it safely. A small tragedy. 😢

The Malay shelter that helped us rescue and bring our pup home is in dire straits. Jeff does incredible work, please at least share if you can't donate gofund.me/116961d3

Attaching pics of our pup after we found him lying in the street, vs now, a year later at home. He's safe because of Jeff.
