i just KNOW that pre-workout supplements are pointless and yet, i ran out a few days ago and all my workouts have been trash so i am submitting to the capitalist machine and just re-ordered (totally different brand/flavour obviously because how can i know what is best without sampling everything)

had my review at work! very pleased; areas to focus on are clear, next year is going to be a big one but also - really happy that the progress i've made has been recognised. i am by no means exceptional ~but~ i aspire to be, and my aspiration has been acknowledged. another long but fruitful day.

my brain is so full today. work has been busy, i have my review on thursday and we're also deep in budget season. i'm grappling (in a good way) with more responsibility coming my way in '26 and am also trying not to get overwhelmed about all the socialising that comes this time of year. calm please!

today was my 6th day in a row of lifting weights and it’s interesting to see how well my body can cope with that level of intensity. back in the office next week so usual routine resumes but good to know i have a lot more in the tank than i thought.
