Unfortunately dropping the Plague of Shadows DLC for Shovel Knight, in 2026 I'm protecting my peace and the movement for Plague Knight stinks 😂 Will be starting the other DLC though! Base Shovel Knight still rules!

I was determined to get this game finished because it was THAT good! What a special indie with an incredible cast of characters, great music, and a fun little battle system. I'm glad I went in blind because experiencing this was so worth it.

Sometimes catching up on older video game series you forget that these games had years in between releases which allowed for things to feel fresh when the new game dropped.
Going from FF13 to FF13-2 was a mistake 😂 while I'm enjoying the game I'm just a little burnt out. Going to take a mini break.

I think next year I'm going to make sure I play a shorter game in between a longer game no matter what as a palette cleanser of sorts. Continuous longer games keeping cooking me about half way through the second game 😩
