I was RD this morning. No rain. Not too cold. 310 runners, joggers and walkers. 30 volunteers. Milestones, PBs, sweets, balloons, doggos, laughs, social time with friends. Loved it.

Really lovely morning at Duthie junior parkrun. Lots of fun timekeeping and a gorgeous walk in the park beforehand.

I’ve just declared our intention to hold additional parkruns on Christmas Day and New Year’s Day and I’m so excited! Best time of the year in parkrun world. Now to start worrying about the weather 🤣

214 parkruns and 319 volunteering credits under my belt, and today was only the 5th time I’ve been tail walker. Quite enjoyed it for a change but looking forward to being RD next week 😀
