Phoenix marketing professional, book and corgi lover, still trying to nail the perfect pie crust.
Smile 2 is a good representation of how isolating fame seems to be to me. Although I do think this woman would at least have a housekeeper around…

Blessed by a Home Depot cat sighting.

“Chicken jumps heavily onto the bed and staggers over to fall into the crack between us, lies flatly on his back like a dead purring walrus.”

This is my favorite description of a cat in a book, ever. (It’s from Sandwich by Catherine Newman.)

I appreciate Shrinking for having near-30 Rock levels of jokes per episode.

This is Rex. He's happy to be reunited with all of his toys after spending a few days apart. Please give them some privacy. 12/10

I don’t want to force anybody into anything, but it’s a great time for Jason Segel to release a full length puppet-led vampire musical.

Very frustrating that the Lisa of Lisa Frankenstein uses a crimper on her hair and then doesn’t end up with crimped hair.

I will never get over how the MASONS made their secret staircase outside of their treasure room out of WOOD in National Treasure. The idea of an invisible treasure map on the back of the Declaration of Independence is nothing compared to that ridiculousness.

The fact that Threads puts little teaser posts with a more link on Instagram but trying to read the full post directs you to download the app is the reason I will never use Threads.

The usual suspects are out there yelling "There are 23 million government workers! Fire most of them!" No awareness that most work for local governments, and most of *them* are schoolteachers. Federal employment hasn't grown since the 1950s

Why is my new favorite restaurant the Cambodian place that takes 45 minutes to get you your food, only accepts cash, has a postcard sized parking lot, and is closed more often than not?

I can’t tell if I have accidentally trained the app to show me people talking about video games (only way I could care less was if they were talking about football) or if people talking about video games is inescapable?

(This post is a mistake. Now I will be shown video game AND football content.)

We’re doing a turkey recipe this year that involves lots of butter and cheesecloth. I grabbed a pack of cheesecloth at the store and my mom asked if it’d be enough to cover the bird... I think we’re good.

It’s like driving a McMansion.
Is it just me or does everyone immediately dislike any cyber truck on the road and its driver

You’re supposed to be happy about the ending of The Family Man, but all I can think of is the next day’s headlines after Jack bails on a multibillion dollar deal.

Looks like people forgot that Netflix has biffed every live event they’ve done.

I got my covid booster and flu shot today, post-RFK Jr. news. I managed to not tell the nurses, “Hope we get to do this again next year!” but I was sure thinking it. 😬

It’s no wonder no one bothers to read the terms and conditions for anything because, once you read them, you’re like… why would anyone ever agree to this… but not agreeing means you can’t, like, use or do anything. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
