I don't live in the US anymore, I haven't in years. My colleagues, however fail to understand how the fall of democracy in the US could affect them as well. They're happy to see the US fail, but really we should all be very worried.

I'm going to put this here: The Republic party will try to push through that Biden's presidency was not legal, therefore all the things he did as president will be nulled. That includes the last minute family pardons.

I keep seeing people on Reddit talk about how trump only has 4 years. I hate to tell you this, but I've seen the our founding documents in person. They're just words on a page. If there's no one to defend them, anything will happen.
