Pappy’s Cards
@pappyscards.bsky.social
Ron Gant super fan. #1 Dick Kokos Collector on TCDB. SABR Member. Occasional poor writer. Known as Cheaha Cardworks in a past life.
Pinned
With the addition of the 1953 Topps, the obtainable portion of the Dick Kokos Supercollection is complete.

This is 19/30 plus some extras and the rest will take some time and patience to stumble across. Dick was in the Army in 1952, so there are no cards. It’s alot of fun to have a very specific PC

One card in todays mail and it’s a beauty. Water damaged, torn, creased, roughed up Pete for my 1975 Topps trash set.

It’s perfect.

I wonder if that family ever figured out they are on Eric Plunk’s card, and if so, how many copies did they collect and do they sign autographs??

@scriptingjapan.bsky.social I know this is silly, but can you read this text for me? Google Translate cannot understand the font. It is a 1950’s Menko game card of an Elvis Impersonator so I was told.

If anybody reads Japanese or knows someone who does, I would love to know what this says. Google translate does not recognize the font.
Well I offered you punks the chance and no one took it, so now it belongs to me.
