Just found out the pachycephalosaurid from my dinosaur project thingy's formation has been described (the species is now named Brontotholus), so I went and dug up this concept drawing I did of them four years ago (sept. 2021)

Happy to have a name I can google now!

Slapped some colors on this with my Beam Paints watercolors.

I should use my watercolors more.

Long time no Arcanth! Mainly wanted to show how far to each direction their wrists bend, and suddenly spawned a full body sketch.

They're paying so much attention to whoever they're listening to, swears!

My DnD group is starting our new campaign tomorrow in an IRL session at our GMs place!

And, being great at being in time and totally not leaving things to the last second, I just got my new character's mini painted!

What started out as a messy coffee shop doodle to escape the heatwave, and evolved into a limited palette watercolor portrait once I discovered a single Beam Paints paint stone within my pencil case. This was fun!

Dinosaur fashion!

I did it! I did a colors!

Anyway, here's the new DnD character, now flavoured with colored pencils.

This is Kuisma, my first multiclass character as a sorcerer/warlock combo (their patron is a unicorn, hence the extra horn on the forehead).
The same character portrait as in the quoted post, now colored with color pencils. Their skin is colored pale with golden brown patches on forehead, cheeks and chin, indicating fur. On their forehead is a darker marking surrounding the root of the forehead hord, and their long hair is the same color as the forehead marking, except their bangs, which are white. Their eyes are brown, as are their bigger horns, which have a darkening gradient towards the tips. The long, fuzzy ears are the same brown as their facial fur, but with darker tips, and the two earrings on the left ear are golden. They are wearing few blue short sleeved shirts layered on top of each other. There's some blue on the background too, helping define the white part of their hair.

Wanted to make a proper portrait for the new DnD character!

The downside is, I accidentally made the pencil lineart so pretty, I'm now afraid of coloring it. The curse of being a traditional artist!

I felt they needed a hairier face.

Their hair is long, and their floppy ears are even longer, hanging past their clavicles. There are two earrings on the left ear. They have two wavy goat-like horns growing from the sides of their head between all the hair, with their points pointing directly upwards behind their head. They also have a small horn growing from the center of their forehead and curving upwards. Some pencil crosshatching indicates hair growing along the bridge of their nose, the entire forehead, cheek bones and chin as well as the back of their jaw. Besides the portrait the photo also includes some flowers from their tattoo detail that gets partially cut out of the picture, and on the upper left corner there's a detail shot of their almost-human eye with goat like horizontal pupil.

Pondering a new DnD character for our group's next campaign now that the (s)tabby cat's adventure is finished.

We're going to have a feywilds game, so I'm making a satyr, who will be my first ever multiclass as a sorcerer/warlock combo!
A sketchbook page doubling as a character sheet. The top half of the page has two full body drawings of the satyr, one from behind and one from the front. They have long, floppy ears hanging past their shoulders, and in addition to a pair of more normal goat horns they also have a small horn on their forehead, as a mark of their warlock patron, who's a unicorn. The furry bits are colored in, being their lower half from waist down, their forearms and upper half of their face including the ears. They have a dark dorsal stripe and eight white spots in two rows framing said stripe, and they have a large upper back tattoo of a flying magpie, and have flower tattoos on their left upper arm. In the middle of the page there's a detail shot of an eye, that looks like a human eye but with a horizontal goat pupil. On the bottom half of the page there are detail shots of their tattoos with notes in Finnish (above the magpie tattoo reads "selässä" meaning on the back, above the flowers reads "vas. olkavarsi" meaning left upper arm, and below with an arrow to the flowers reads "kiertää käsivarren ympäri" meaning circles around the arm. On the bottom right of the page is a detailed shot of the face of the character.

Work mood this morning.
