You may not want to believe it, but there's a little Trump inside all of us.

If you don't believe me, look what's in the toilet after a night of liquor and Taco Bell with extra fire sauce.

Are we finally breaking thru to next gen tech? Finally moving beyond the base concepts from 50yrs ago?
Are we possibly on the path to having Isolinear Optical Chips or Atlantian style data crystals?
Can we possibly get this to market in my lifetime? Please?

Which would be the most helpful AI to use for L2/3/4 windows/mac user support techs? Copilot just isn't cutting it; too many rabbit holes chasing down dead ends from initially incorrect info.
Github CP has been great for scripting though!

Also, I love pie.

@docrock.bsky.social I was surprised and gratified to learn that I'm not the only one who uses the word muggle how you described on this week's TWiT episode. 🖖

@leolaporte.me I've been in IT since high school in 1994, and loosely following you since TechTV. just wanted to say thanks for what you do. 👍

Accurate
What's the difference between a security analyst and a dog?
One keeps sniffing all over the place, running after its tail, digging up in old places to drool over obscure findings. The other is a pet.

While tribalism might have proved an invaluable MO in the cave or indigenous survival, its denominationism has lost its merit in a global world where the new tribe is survival of all of humanity. We must unite to solve our problems not continue to divide. Orgs that encourage division must go!

Look y'all, plain and simple:

"tRump" is fucking stupid. That stupid ass capitalization is not any less stupid than when they type "democRat" or "demoncRats".

FFS. Stop it.
It's lame.
It's stupid.
Let it go.
At least try pretend you're more intelligent than them.

It's about damn f'ing time!
It's 2024 and we're still relying on copper like 1924 and silicon like 1964.
We are so behind where we should be. Photonic circuitry should already be mainstream.

should be banned for being absolute junk. I've never had a TP-Link product that didn't unexpectedly die shortly into its expected lifespan. I put them on my Do Not Buy list years ago. No big loss if they get banned for other reasons.
