CFPB employees can't own stocks in companies that the agency regulates. A DOGE employee was warned by ethics lawyers that he held nearly $700K in stock in such companies.

He then carried out mass firings at the agency – including those ethics lawyers.

The corruption couldn’t be any more blatant.

Senator Van Hollen cannot be any more clear as to what this is all about.

It’s about the rule of law. Period. Not the whims of an authoritarian or our feelings toward any individual.

If you allow it to be dismissed for even one person. Any person. You risk suffering the same fate.
Van Hollen on Fox News Sunday: "My whole point here is if you deprive one man of his constitutional rights, you threaten the constitutional rights of everybody ... if you threaten the rule of law for one person, you threaten if for everybody in America."

🙌🏼 I’m not sure who had the amazing idea to invite this constitutional lawyer to a senate hearing that intended to prove Biden colluded with Meta to censor conservatives, but she took the opportunity to speak truth to power ✊🏼 on the hypocrite 👑 KING OF FREE SPEECH, Donald Trump, himself. 👏🏼 Brava!!

So. Look at all the chain stores closing: joAnn. Forever 21. Maybe Kohls. Who supplies most of their inventory? You think China? Big losses for them? China goes big into online with Temu. Nice ads, terrible products. I kind of like thinking they are scrambling.
