A great question to assess about any #HAPC or #PedPC consult: is the consulting team asking your team to advocate/work for the patient and family’s needs and wishes or for what the consulting team wants? I.e. “get the DNR”, sign them up for hospice, etc. #HAPC25 #HAPC #HAPCSW #PedPC #PedPCSW #HAPCSW

🔥🔥A 2021 study found that Medicaid expansion as part of the ACA led to a substantial reduction in mortality, primarily driven by reductions in disease-related deaths. A 2018 study in the Journal of Political Economy found that, Medicaid reduced infant and child mortality since the 1960s and 1970s.🔥🔥
