Goldman’s latest analysis revises its year-end 2025 gold price target to $3,300 raising the upper boundary of its forecast range to $3,520 and introducing a tail-risk scenario as high as $4,500
Unfortunately, their forecasting is about as good as my cooking! But once in a while it works out!

Big Bank research over the last few weeks has been terrible. Highly paid analysts have reacted like teenagers, producing drivel. In 30 years in the business, I have never seen such useless, unprofessional waste of time and money 'research'.

I guess it takes time for America to realise they have been the subject of a coup. El President has taken over the Judiciary, turned the media into his personal eunuchs, and the army into his acolytes. Governing by executive order completely nullifies the other arms of government.

AI looks fun, and I'm sure for business it will find buyers prepared to pay a premium. But as a man on the Clapham omnibus, no way I'm ever going to pay for it directly. It will take decades to cover the investment being made.

I keep wondering when America will realise that it's no longer a Democracy, and has returned to it's 18th century British origins with King Trump. The two houses of 'Govt' have no say as he issues decree after decree. ( executive orders). Not saying this is bad, just saying...
