i’ve noticed that people are getting considerably worse at spelling these past few years, especially with homophones.
the reason, as far as i’m convinced? auto-captions in online video. these algorithms are really bad at determining spelling from both audio and context

found this at a park yesterday. i’ve only found vertebrate fossils a couple times before, and never 100% on my own, or even within rock. til now?
am i misidentifying some kind of limestone breccia or something or do y’all think these are bones? help pls i’m kinda bad at this (more info in alt text)

yeah this is literally happening to me right now. i get told i have a “good resume” and stuff then nothing else after my interview. radio fucking silence.
For past year+ I've steadily seen trans women not get hired for jobs they would've had a shot at before, fired under some thin excuse (even when their role is badly needed/there's a shortage) or pointedly laid off first.
