For #FossilFiday a new paper on the size change of Hopolopteryx fish during the #Cretaceous with varying ocean temperature. The study was part of the @chalksea.bsky.social project & led by Masters student, Chloe Griffiths.

New paper & a new shark! Hello Pararhincodon torquis 👋🏼

Thank you to @euphanerops.bsky.social for inviting me to be part of the project.

It highlights the importance of museum collections & looking at specimens with different analysis.
New #OA paper in @royalsocietypublishing.org #RSOS: we use CT to describe a 3D shark from the Cretaceous Chalk, giving a rare skeletal perspective on shark evolution.
