BREAKING: Government shutdown likely to end tonight. The US House passed the bill 222 - 207 and sent it to President Trump for his signature. Democrats go no solid assurances that the Affordable Care Act tax subsidies will be renewed or extended beyond January 1, 2026.
This is huge news for Pennsylvanians.
Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro signed the $50 billion state budget into law. Funding to schools from the Commonwealth should resume soon and swiftly.

This is huge news for Pennsylvanians.

I've been told often that teachers get 12 weeks off for the summer. Many teachers get paid for 9-months of teaching spread out over 12 months. Most teachers work extra time over the summer.

What bothers me about the coverage of this story is that the Associated Press never mentioned that Bradley's is an LGBTQ+ bar. No mention of it whatsoever. 5 people were killed and 13 were injured. As for Silas, may he think forever about the 5 people he killed as a result of this car crash.
