Pádraic Moran (@padraicmoran.bsky.social Uni Galway) gave a brilliant keynote about "Designing sustainable digital editions" at the Digital Epigraphy workshop in Maynooth today. Very appropriate to all the work that we are doing in digital humanities projects, and a huge amount of food for thought.

We're experimenting with network graphs for manuscripts in Irish script on mira.ie. Each edge (line) here is a MS—black edges indicate primary movement (from a place of origin), pink edges secondary movement (from a place of provenance). Nodes marked "L" are modern libraries. MSS were highly mobile!
