Nearly crunch time for #hcafc and it feels like a sliding doors moment.

Stay up, Acun sells up, new investors and the Premier League dream continues.

Go down and I don’t think we’ll see the Championship again for some time.

Back to a half empty MKM, a depleted squad & a fractured fanbase #utt

2 draws and we stay up (50pts). If Stoke lose at Derby we’d be above Stoke, if Stoke beat Derby we’d be above Derby. Cardiff and Plymouth can only reach 49pts.

Would just rather have the win tomorrow though

The magnetism of relegation has kept us attached to the relegation zone for most of the season.

If we lose on Saturday, I think the drop will finally catch up with us on the last game.

We need to get this done and dusted tomorrow!

Here's the last 40 seconds of Bulls/Lakers. Insane ending.

I think the Bristol game took its toll on the players tonight. We’ve got a quick turnaround too - so perhaps we need to freshen things up a bit for the weekend #hcafc

Feels like a pivotal game for #hcafc tonight. Win and go 5 points clear of relegation with potentially 5 teams below us.

Lose and be out the relegation zone on goal difference. Draw not much better.

If you wanted a script on how to give #hcafc the best chance of winning 3 in a row you would go for;

Unexpected away way V a top 4 team with an unbeaten home record

Another away game, let’s say V a team with the worst home record (barring us)

Home game V a team with 0 wins away from home

👌🏽

Seen quite a few Burnley fans predicting 3 or 4 nil for the game tonight.

They have scored 1 goal (own goal) in their last 4 home games. We have conceded 1 goal away from home in our last 4.

When the mind isn’t full of work, family & friends stuff it drifts to its natural place of football & Hull City.

What a difference it makes when #hcafc have had a win at the weekend.

Everything has been seen through rose-tinted glasses this week, c’mon City I could do with another week of it! #utt

Even if we had the joint worst home record in the division we’d be level with 17th place Millwall.

We could have done with a lower table away game this weekend for our best shot at 3 points! #hcafc

It seems like we are doing our business early with Gelhardt, Crooks & Amrabat in with Joseph & Lincoln expected today.

Although with a winger (Sorba Thomas), CB (Porteous) & potentially Matazo (DM) & a left back expected. 8 signings in Jan seems a bit excessive. We now need some deadwood out #hcafc

Time to cut our losses with Giles. Take what we can, get his wages off the books and reinvest #hcafc #utt

I think we’ve got a superstar here 🌟 destined for the Premier League. I have no doubt he will keep us up this season and go again next.

Not been as impressed with a manager since Marco Silva.

How bad does our pitch look 👀…spent £1 million relaying it - got some top of the range lights to help with regrowth & it’s heading towards the mess it ended up last season. No rugby to blame either! #hcafc

1 more goal for Sunderland and City are out of the bottom 3 🤞🏽 #hcafc
January 5, 2025 at 3:39 PM
Jones back to his best, Alzate so comfortable on the ball, Pandur being solid 🪨 again. We ran out of legs, which is worrying for Leeds.

One player who wasn’t tired and cost us a point was Kamara. Have a look at Vaughan and match his attitude! #hcafc #utt

We will only improve from here. Cardiff, Plymouth and Oxford thankfully sinking like stones.

Lots more effort from the team tonight but quality and decision making (particularly Slater) needs to improve #hcafc #utt
December 11, 2024 at 9:47 PM
We just need to put one of these chances away.

Longman has to do better, perhaps Slater should have played the ball across goal for Pedro’s chance but if we take the lead confidence will grow #hcafc #utt

Great piece by @ntt20.com on @fotmob.com corner about #hcafc

It would explain why us Hull City fans are relatively relaxed despite being bottom.

Walter demoralised the players and with the smart acquisition of Selles we should rise the table. Acun will also back him in January #utt
December 9, 2024 at 6:57 PM
The big issue Selles has at #hcafc is the lack of pace across the team.

We don’t have pace up front to stretch teams or instigate an effective press.

We don’t have pace at the back to press high & go man to man.

January is key and it will be interesting to see how Seles sets us up until then #utt
December 8, 2024 at 10:40 AM
In fairness that weather was dreadful. Even trying to put a game plan together was almost impossible.

We should have got a point, possibly all 3. Other results send us to the bottom - it will be interesting to see what Selles changes for Wednesday #hcafc #utt

Word on the street is that it’s a 7pm announcement for Selles. Let the fun begin!
