There were nine people here, sitting around, most of them around retirement age. This guy could have come up at ANY time & asked us to move. Murkowski's office could have done the same. Instead they told us they were in a meeting, and they'd let us return after. That is why we were outside!

Thank you to everyone that showed up today! Thank you for your time, sharing stories, and laughs. Lots of discussion on the current state of things and looking ahead how to foster resiliency in our state. Community is the Resistance!

If the senate hasn't voted by 8a AKST, let's do an old fashioned sit in tomorrow. (Monday 30th) I will be there 8a-Noon with a book to read lol. The request is she votes no on the final iteration of the bill. If they vote before 8a we can commiserate then keep planning 🖤 510 L Street, Suite 600

Monday the 28th will be the last "official" Pack the Offices Anchorage for a bit! I need a break and we need to change tactics. I encourage folks to continue showing up at 4p on Mondays! I have pdfs of the forms available to email out if you'd like to do a grassroot effort in your own circle.

We finally have a statewide calendar for activist and civic engagement events! MarchAgainst.org This is a clearing house for organizations from all over, verified by the hosts. Please share this with folks not on social media. "When/where" is the calendar, "get involved" is local resources.

Still had around 50 smiling faces show up today. 😊 I lost track after 30 and that was around 4:30p. Another group concerned about salmon populations will be starting their own Pack the Offices on Fridays at 4p. If that's a better time for you, head on in. 📝 See you next Monday at 4pm, 510 L Street!

@sen_dansullivan wow your office just happend to be closed at 3:45pm today. HOW BIZZARE. Maybe a perfect storm of flu and public school spring break but suspicious haha. We had at least 50 people today! I think a few snuck past me when I was chatting. See you next Monday at 4pm, 510 L Street in Anc!

Folks saying aides in Begich's anc office and Sullivan's Soldotna office have been a little less than welcoming lately lol. Not aggressive but they're sounding annoyed, and I think that's good. Kill 'em with kindness yall xoxo 💋 Keep showing up!

Thanks to everyone that came out this week! I'm loving meeting new faces every week and chatting, hearing where folks see room for growth in connection, what's been hard, and what they're wanting to share with our Congress people. We are building community and community is the resistance!
