I like to be dark and mysterious. But I'm just blank and confusing.
Expect a lot of Arsenal rants. And rants in general.
I made this

Craig pawson giving a yellow to Zubi for the slightest of arm-trap movements, but fails to react to a sliding from behind on Saliba, tells you something about how this game will be olayed

I know the big story is Xhaka's return against Arsenal. But Sunderland also features Ballard in defence.

So I drove approximately 500km yesterday and missed the game.
Apparently Arsenal won, which is delightful news though.
This is where we step on the gas - we have some, not easy but, winnable games with some good chances of rotation.
Up until spurs, we should be picking up steam.

Even though I don't even live in the US, I do have the prediction that, based on the Portland protesters, that some techbro will do a startup directly marketing towards protesters, selling inflatable costumes.

With AI of course.

Hey, why do people compare Trump to Hitler? Easy, it's a 1-1 comparison

Not only the situation in Germany, that is reflected by the US in terms of economic crisis, unemployment and homelessness.
But how Hitler was viewed by conservatives and who elected him

Two headers. Against NCUF. That's good.
Maybe poignant, but I really despise what they've become.
It always feels that bit sweeter when we win over them.

I know. Respect to Port Vale for sticking to the task and shutting down Arsenal.

That being said. Could we. Like. Put the game to bed and just score one or two goals?

Rest Merino?
Maybe set Martinelli central and Max wide?
Hincapie for some minutes for Saliba?

I only saw the last 30 mins of the Ars-MCI game.
I immediately noticed the fact Pep was subbing off attackers for defenders.
Also, Arsenal really had a difficult time progressing into dangerous areas.

In the end, Haalands goal was avoidable. Bad positioning. Gabi finding a good role.

Athletic Bilbao playing in highest gear. Arsenal needs to follow with intent. This is not a "weather the storm" match.
There's glimpses of intent, but we rarely match their physicality and intensity.
Needs to up the volume

Great display by Zubi.
Mosquera looks calm
Gyok on the score sheet
Madueke looks ignited
Clean display by Nwaneri
Timber really at his very best.

Lots of positives. We do suffer in the high press without Ødegaard though.
September 13, 2025 at 1:37 PM
It's so interesting to see which players hit the ground running. I think most of us would have expected Gyok and Eze to run the show. Seeing Madueke just bossing is a beaut
September 13, 2025 at 12:26 PM
How did I end up here again?
September 5, 2025 at 6:45 PM
This. Goddamn. Game. Like. Yes positives- we played up against league winners. But we also exceeded them without capitalizing.
August 31, 2025 at 5:17 PM
Madueke doing well against Kerkez. Martinelli struggling, which I wouldn't expect, being up against an AM.
Need to get Gyok more into the game. Liverpool are getting frustrated, but we're not really doing anything with that.

Also, fucking. Like. Injuries man.
August 31, 2025 at 4:20 PM
For all the positives that could be said, ending the match with 3 under 21 yr academy prospects was a statement of dimensions.

Comfortable position on the break. We could glide into a soft cushion in the second half.

What would really settle me would be a Gyok Goal though.

No mooooore injurieeees!
August 23, 2025 at 4:58 PM
Here's a list of players that I know don't fit Arsenal, but that I utterly despise playing against:

Palinha
Kudus
Vitinha
Ruiz
Gibbs-White
Nick Pope
Hakimi
Joelinton

These aren't even elite, they just unnerve us.
Also, somehow, Spurs got 2 on that list. Luckily they didn't get Eze

Nooooooooooooooooo booo noooo
August 20, 2025 at 11:35 AM
Rewatching the highlights from yesterday, I notice a couple of situations, where a simple through ball could have given Gyokeres a chance for a shot.
Hopefully Arteta notice these chances as well. While a well played goal is satisfying, a simple goal is worth just as much
August 18, 2025 at 9:14 AM
It's a win and I'll take it.
I just wish it was a more definitive win. A statement win.
It felt like a "Our GK saved it and your guy missed by 2 inches" win

Arsenal Men with the chance to start the season the right way. Set a good standard

Here's my prognosis for the SA league.
It will be a thing, they will sign big names for big players. Only a select few will stay relevant, the rest will drop into obscurity until the SA league looks like the Chinese league of yesteryear.
🚨💣 BREAKING: Kingsley Coman to Al Nassr, here we go! Deal agreed with Bayern for package slightly under €30m. Coman will sign three year deal at Al Nassr, part of ambitious project after Inigo Martinez and João Félix. Medical and signature this week.
