There were some anti-protestors, at one point, trying to freak people out, and their behavior was scaring my toddler.
Then the protestors started a bubble machine, and some handed out cold water. They weren’t just peaceful. They were protecting peace.

just saw a guy in white fishing at the lake by my mom’s house but I couldn’t see his boat through the bushes. genuinely thought it was Jesus for a minute.
my first thought was, “well this is happening, guess I should leave him alone”
